On June 7, Head of the Republic of Komi Sergey Gaplikov and Executive Director of the “Agency for Social Investment” Autonomous Non-Profit Organization Ilya Kovalyov signed a cooperation agreement between the Government of the Republic and the Agency on the sidelines of the XXIII St. Petersburg International Economic Forum.

In accordance with the Agreement, the Agency will assist in attracting extra-budgetary investments in the development of the economy and social sphere of the Republic of Komi, including health care, education, sports, housing and utilities, transport, and construction.

The main project should be the New First and Emergency Aid, which is already being implemented in a number of constituents of the Russian Federation and includes ambulances updating on account of extra-budgetary funding sources.
