On June 7, Head of the Republic of Komi Sergey Gaplikov and President of PJSC LUKOIL Vagit Alekperov signed an Agreement of Intent between the Government of the Republic and the Company within the framework of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum.
According to the document, the Company will consider participation in republican priority state projects, including public-private partnership.
Earlier, Sergey Gaplikov and Vagit Alekperov signed the Protocol to the Agreement on cooperation between the company and the region for 2019 at the Russian Investment Forum in Sochi. In accordance with the Protocol, LUKOIL will build new social facilities in the Republic of Komi.
In particular, the 2nd building of the Ice Palace “Yugdöm” is being built in Usinsk with the financial support of the company. Rural medical dispensaries are being constructed in Usinsk villages Mutnyy Materik and Shchelyabozh. A sports and fitness complex with a swimming pool is being built in Yarega settlement, and a culture centre is being built in the rural settlement of Koroviy Ruchey, Ust-Tsilma District.
