On June 7, Head of the Republic of Komi Sergey Gaplikov and Director General of Rosseti North-West Company Artyom Pidnik signed an agreement on the development of the region’s power grid complex within the framework of St. Petersburg International Economic Forum. The document provides for a strategic partnership within the framework of “Digital Transformation 2030” concept.

The agreement is valid until December 31, 2023. It regulates interaction of the energy company and the Government of the region on grids modernization, introduction of innovative technologies in construction, reconstruction and technical re-equipment, and reduction of grids losses.

The parties also agreed to cooperate in the implementation of the long-term tariff policy.

After the agreement signing the parties discussed implementation of the “Digital Transformation 2030” concept in the region. Artyom Pidnik said that Rosseti North-West plans to launch a digital electrician project in Komi.
