On July 20, Head of the Republic of Komi Sergey Gaplikov visited the OOO IICO production plant. The company produces saw timber, dry planed products for wooden housing, as well as fuel briquettes. The company plans to initiate pellets manufacturing.

Vagram Ozmanian, company director general, told the head of the region about business development. At present, the company employs 20 people. In the future, the employee number will be increased by 30.

In 2018, the company built and equipped a fuel briquettes workshop with annual capacity of up to 5,000 tons for efficient use the existing production infrastructure and non-waste manufacturing.

This year OOO IICO entered into an agreement for the delivery of a small merchantable wood processing line, as well as a hardwood processing line. The dry planed timber production line has been launched.

Installation of a second line for pellets production and additional plant construction are also planned. The total investment will amount to RUR 250 mln.

Now the company has forest plots leasing agreements in force with 65,000 m3 of timber supply.
