On April 5, the Head of the Republic of Komi Vladimir Uiba and the Minister of Economic Development and Industry of the region Elmira Akhmeeva visited the company "Promtech-invest" in the Sysolsky district, got acquainted with its production activities and development prospects.

They visited the production workshops that were introduced as part of the investment project "Creation of a wood processing plant for deep processing of wood". Its implementation is completed at the end of 2019. The volume of investments amounted to 413 million rubles, 180 jobs were created.

Workshops for processing wood waste, thin-gauge sawmilling, deep processing of wood, thick-gauge sawmilling, as well as drying chambers and a boiler room were introduced. Today, the company produces lumber, planed products, fuel briquettes and pellets.

Director of the enterprise Vladislav Fedkin told the Head of the Komi Republic Vladimir Uiba about the plans for the development of production. The company's management intends to create production sites for the production of new types of products: glued beams, blanks for housing construction. Work is underway to modernize the existing production sites in order to improve the quality of products and reduce waste from production.
