From July 28 to 30, 2021, the XII International Economic Summit "Russia - the Islamic World: KazanSummit 2021" will be held at the Kazan Expo International Exhibition Center.

"Russia-the Islamic World: KazanSummit" is the main platform for economic cooperation between the subjects of the Russian Federation and the countries of the Islamic world. It is a leading international platform for discussing issues of cooperation and implementing joint projects, presenting economic opportunities and investment potential of our country.

The aim of the Summit is to strengthen trade, economic, scientific, technical, social and cultural ties between Russia and the countries of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation.

In 2019, the event was held at a high level and brought together more than 5,000 representatives of international organizations, public authorities, financial institutions, ambassadors of 25 states, deputies, investors and businessmen from 72 countries, as well as 250 media representatives.

The leitmotif of the business program will be conscious consumption and creation, and the key topics of the upcoming summit will be Islamic finance and partner banking, halal industry, youth diplomacy, export development, entrepreneurship and investment. The event will also include the halal industry exhibition Russia Halal Expo 2021 and the Engineering Cluster Forum.
