It will start operating in Chovyu, Syktyvkar in 2019. The project is implemented by OOO Luzales. This was reported of by Ruslan Semenyuk, Company Business Director to Sergey Gaplikov, Head of the Republic of Komi in the course of the working meeting.

Tax payments to the republican and local budgets of the Republic of Komi amounted to RUR 184.4 mln for 11 months of 2018.

In November OOO Luzales confirmed certification of leased forest sites according to FSC and РЕFC systems and obtained certificates for new forest sites under the investment project.

In 2018 the company made agreements on social and economic cooperation with administrations of Syktyvkar, Priluzye and Udora Districts (RUR 8 mln), and administrations of rural settlements (RUR 1.4 mln) being the company operation areas. RUR 29.4 mln is a total company financial support to social non-commercial, cultural, educational, sports, religious institutions and public authorities.

Speaking about 2019 plans, Ruslan Semenyuk spoke of the company readiness to start a large-scale federal project on recycling woodwastes into biofuel.

In March 2019 a new pellet press is planned to be assembled and commissioned in Kudzyavidz Village, Priluzye District. This will contribute to annual fuel pellets manufacturing growth by 30,000 tons. Waste recovery will be organized in Chovyu settlement near Syktyvkar. Fourth sawmilling line will be launched at Luzales production site in June.

“We make efforts to concentrate major investments in the republic. Therefore all plans and projects are to be implemented. We are ready to lend a required support as a part of our cooperation,” Sergey Gaplikov said.
