Sergey Gaplikov, Head of the Republic of Komi was informed of this by Pavel Trusagin, Sosnogorsky Greenhouse Complex Director General (the company acts as the project operator) during a business meeting on the investment project implementation.

The meeting was also attended by Anatoly Knyazev, Deputy Prime Minister of the Regional Government / Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Komi, and Vladimir Lukyanov, Deputy Director General of Renova Group of Companies.

The total preliminary project cost is RUR 3.6 bln. Its implementation envisages the construction of greenhouses blocks, a power centre, a service block, infrastructure and other supporting facilities.

The use of innovative equipment and applying of Ultra Clima, new technologies of growing vegetables using fifth-generation greenhouses in Sosnogorsky Greenhouse Complex will maintain an ideal microclimate at any season, save heating costs and protect against pests (insects).

The facility construction is being carried out by Greenhouses of the Regions LLC, a company implementing several projects of advanced production in a number of Russian regions with a harsh climate. JSC Rosselkhozbank is the project financial partner.
