Head of the Republic of Komi Sergey Gaplikov visited OAO Zelenetskaya Poultry Farm, the largest agro-industrial company in the region. The first stage of a new animal feed plant construction is being completed. RUR 2 bln is the project total cost.

Head of the Republic of Komi Sergey Gaplikov paid an official visit to the Kyrgyz Republic, where a number of business meetings with the leadership of the state bodies of Kyrgyzstan were held.

On September 18, a business meeting with representatives of the German-Russian Economic Union was held at the Permanent Representation of the Republic of Komi to the President of the Russian Federation. The delegation of the German-Russian Economic Union was headed by Dr. Hanno Stöcker, Head of the Union, Member of the Board.

Kilning 240 m3of sawn timber per day is a feasible task. Putting a TS type 6-zone continuous drying chamber into operation will give a 30 per cent growth of regulated moisture timber output. This will contribute to annual output growth by 70,000 m3 of sawn timber.

A working visit of representatives from Zerde Kazakhstan National Information and Communication Holding was supported by the Corporation for the Development of the Republic of Komi, the Ministry of Investments, Industry and Transport of the Republic of Komi and the Komi Republican Academy of Civil Service and Administration. Zerde is the largest state-owned Kazakh company engaged in modern information and communication technologies, as well as Kazakh IT-companies development.

The state and banks should move in the same direction for the effective region development. This opinion was expressed by participants of the Council of Banks of the Republic of Komi at the meeting on August 9 in Shondi Centre for Entrepreneurship Support in the Republic of Komi.

On July 20, Head of the Republic of Komi Sergey Gaplikov visited Priluzye District. In OOO Luzales Pellet Plant the head of the region inspected the production workshop, as well as a residential town that is being built for the company employees.

The Ministry of Investments, Industry and Transport of the Republic of Komi, in cooperation with the executive and local authorities has initiated selection of projects from the Store of Correct Solutions to be implemented in the region.
